🌟 Playground Update & Safety Reminder 🌟
We are so grateful for our new playground and send a huge thank you to BEST for the many hours of work on the project!
As much fun as the new equipment is, we need to remind everyone about safe use—especially the zip line:
✅ Max weight limit: 150 lbs
✅ One rider at a time
🚫 No bouncing, swinging, or jumping while riding
The equipment is designed for children to enjoy. It is not meant for adults to play on or misuse, as this causes damage and creates safety risks.
Please also help us protect the turf by keeping bikes, scooters, skateboards, and similar items off of it. 🚲🛴 This ensures the surface stays safe and lasts for years to come.
These rules keep the playground in great condition. The zip line was recently tightened due to misuse, and we want all children to enjoy it for many years.
We ask our community to do their part by following the rules and encouraging safe, responsible play. Signage will be posted soon as a reminder.
⚠️ Please note: The playground is not monitored after hours but is under continuous surveillance.
Thank you for helping us keep this a fun and safe space for our kids! 💙

We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator Jerry Moran to Cimarron High School this morning! During his visit, Sen. Moran toured our classrooms, met with students and teachers, and engaged in meaningful conversations about education and future opportunities.
From exploring our technical programs to discussing the importance of hands‑on learning and student voice, Senator Moran demonstrated true interest in the next generation of Kansans. He took time to hear from our students—asking what they're proud of, what they’re striving toward, and how schools can better support their futures.
A big thank‑you to everyone—students, staff, and Sen. Moran—for making this visit memorable and impactful!
