Dear Bluejay Family,
This afternoon at approximately 1:30 p.m., our district activated additional security measures across our buildings in response to a report we received. I want to assure you that these actions were taken as a precaution, and no students or staff were in danger.
After assessing the situation and confirming there was no threat, we ended the heightened security protocol and resumed normal operations by 1:50 p.m.
I am proud to share that our USD 102 staff responded quickly, calmly, and professionally throughout the entire process. Their preparedness and attention to student safety were evident and commendable. The safety of our students and staff remains our top priority, and today’s response demonstrated our commitment to that principle.
Thank you for your continued trust and support. Please feel free to reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

I hope everyone has a great May. This is a busy time of the year for the Bluejays. Great things are happening in USD 102!
